Yoga is a discipline

Yoga is often regarded as a discipline because it encompasses a comprehensive approach to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Rooted in ancient traditions, yoga integrates postures (asanas), breath control (pranayama), and meditation to foster a deeper connection between the body and mind. This practice demands dedication, consistency, and self-awareness, as practitioners strive to develop strength, flexibility, and focus.

Yoga is a meditation

Yoga is considered a form of meditation because it emphasizes mindfulness and inner awareness through the integration of movement, breath, and mental focus. While practicing yoga, individuals engage in various postures (asanas) that require concentration, encouraging a meditative state of mind. By focusing on the breath and bodily sensations, practitioners cultivate present-moment awareness, reducing distractions and promoting relaxation.

Choosing a yoga Center

Practice yoga and find your inner peace

We will be offering recommendations about Yoga centers close to where we are located in Costa Rica as well as links to Centers worldwide.

My name is Harold Schneidergruber and I used to be the manager at the El Sabanero Retreat Center in Guanacaste Costa Rica.
I helped build the Center into what it is today one of the most successful Yoga centers in Costa Rica.
Due to the death of the owner and also medical issues I had all my toes on my right leg amputated and therefore lost my position at the El Sabanero.

Not being happy about this development and the new management of the El Sabanero I decided to find Centers close to me in Guanacaste province, Costa Rica which I can recommend to past and new clients.
